How the STBEmu trial works: Open STBEmu, copy the MAC address from Settings, Profiles, STB Configuration, and send it to us on WhatsApp. We answer with a portal URL and a trial line, usually within under 10 minutes. Paste the portal, restart the app, and the full service loads: the complete channel list, the EPG, the VOD library and the real stream quality. Use the time to check the channels you care about, the guide accuracy and the buffering on your own connection. Two fields: a portal URL and a MAC address. Nothing else. Step by step inside STBEmu: Open STBEmu and go to Settings, then Profiles. Edit the default profile. Under STB Configuration, choose Device and note the MAC address, which looks like 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx. Send that MAC to us on WhatsApp; the app cannot load anything until we bind a line to it, which takes under 10 minutes. Under Portal Settings, paste the portal URL exactly as we send it. It ends in /c and that trailing /c matters. Leave the STB model on MAG 250 or MAG 254 unless we say otherwise. Save, go back and restart STBEmu completely; the channel list and EPG load on their own. If a channel opens but stays black, switch Media Player under Settings between Exo, IJK and Default. The same portal and MAC also work on a MAG box.

Sideload the app with Downloader, then load the portal exactly as on Android. STBEmu on a Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube: STBEmu is not in the Amazon Appstore, so it is sideloaded. On the Fire TV Stick go to Settings, My Fire TV, Developer Options and allow apps from unknown sources. Install the free Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore, open it and fetch the STBEmu APK from the developer's own website; we do not host, mirror or link that file. IBO Player shows a device ID and key that we activate from our side. VLC and Kodi take an M3U link. Ask on WhatsApp for the format your player needs and we send it within under 10 minutes; channels, EPG and VOD are identical whichever login you use. STBEmu runs on Android only. Every other screen has a matching player. Device by device: STBEmu works on Android phones and tablets, Android TV and Google TV boxes, and Fire TV devices. It has no version for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Roku, Samsung or LG Smart TVs or Windows, and the best answer there is a different app running the same STBEmu Pro subscription. MAG and Formuler boxes: the built-in portal player, no app at all. Roku: cast from a phone, or add a Fire TV Stick. STBEmu itself covers few screens; the subscription covers all of them. Almost always a MAC or portal mismatch, and each message points to its own fix. The three STBEmu messages and what fixes each: STB is blocked means the portal does not recognise your MAC: the line is not bound yet, the subscription has expired, or the MAC changed after a reinstall. Copy the MAC from STB Configuration and send it to us; we check and rebind within under 10 minutes. Loading error or server not responding is a portal URL problem: retype it exactly, check the trailing /c. A black screen on one channel while others play is a codec issue inside STBEmu: switch Media Player between Exo, IJK and Default under Settings. A black screen on every channel with a working guide usually means a VPN or DNS blocker is on; turn it off and restart STBEmu. Otherwise send us a photo of the screen.

Start with the network, then the player settings, then us. Fix order for STBEmu buffering: Buffering is nearly always local. HD needs about 25 Mbps and 4K needs 50 Mbps, measured on the device, not the router. Move to Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, close other streams in the house, and restart the router once. Inside STBEmu, switch Media Player between Exo, IJK and Default, raise the buffer size in the player settings, and clear the app cache in the Android app settings. If a VPN is running, test with it off. Freezing after minutes of clean playback is usually the device overheating; a Fire TV Stick behind a hot TV is the classic case. If a wired 50 Mbps connection still buffers in STBEmu, message us and we move the line to another server.

Update from the Play Store. Your profile survives an update, not an uninstall. Before and after an STBEmu update: On Android and Android TV the Play Store updates STBEmu automatically, and the profiles you created, including the portal URL and MAC address, stay on the device untouched. Keep updates on for codec fixes. On a Fire TV Stick there is no store update, so fetch the new APK from the developer's site through Downloader over the old one, which keeps the profile. An uninstall is different. Removing STBEmu deletes the profiles, and a fresh install can generate a new MAC address the portal will not recognise. Before you uninstall, write down the portal URL and the MAC; after reinstalling, send us the new MAC on WhatsApp and we rebind within under 10 minutes. The Pro edition unlock is tied to your Google account, so it returns on its own.
